WOODLAND HILLS—A six-vehicle car collision that occurred on an offramp of the southbound Ventura Freeway in Woodland Hills on February 4, has left one passenger dead.

The accident occurred after 3 p.m. near Mulholland Drive. The victim has been identified as Claudia Mejia, 40, of Calabasas. She was on her way to pickup her daughter from Calabasas High School at the time of the crash.

Mejia was killed when the driver of another vehicle crashed into her car. Two additional motorists sustained injuries from the crash. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation by officials.

A fundly page was started to help raise funds for the family. So far more than $25,000 has been raised of a tentative goal of $40,000.

Her funeral is set to take place on Wednesday, February 11 at Glen Haven 13017 Lopez Canyon Road, Sylmar, CA 91342.
