HOLLYWOOD HILLS— On Thursday, October 27, 2016, The Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation hosted their 12th annual All Hallows Eve event at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, in Hollywood. The event, opened only to the Hollywood Chamber of commerce members and their guests, served as a fundraiser to raise money for local organizations in the community.

Kaylee Kiecker, Executive Vice President of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce says, “It was an excellent event. Probably our best one yet”. Food stations and a Witches Brew Bar was set up for the night. Food stations included Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Ciabatta Bar, Hooters, McDonalds, and Fresh Brothers. There was a variety of activities present such as face painting, fortune tellers, a balloon maker station, and a Dave and Buster’s Fun Zone. Music was provided by DJ Crash, and a Michael Jackson, “Thriller” dance performance took center stage with zombies as they performed a few times throughout the night. The night concluded with a Halloween costume contest for both kids and adults of all ages. The top 4 Winners from the kid’s Halloween costume contest were excited to choose from a display of big Dave and Buster’s prizes ranging from a large sized pony to a remote controlled Ferrari toy car. An inflatable gigantic dinosaur costume took home the first place prize. Adult winners were given gift certificates for food restaurants and for massages.

The Hollywood Chamber Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit foundation that distributes money, in the form of grants, twice a year to local organizations in the community. The All Hallows Eve event had an array of sponsors. Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood Hotel, McDonald’s of Hollywood, and Harridge Development Group being their top sponsors.
