WEST HOLLYWOOD—Soap actress Crystal Hunt was arrested for felony assault at a bar on Friday, December 13.
The 28-year-old actress allegedly got in a heated argument with another woman around 12:30 a.m. and threw a pint glass at the victim’s face while at Pearl’s Liquor Bar in West Hollywood.
Hunt, who is best known for her past roles on the daytime dramas “Guiding Light” and “One Life to Live,” was arrested by police and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.
The female victim reportedly received medical treatment for her injuries. Hunt posted bail and was released from jail Saturday morning.
TMZ reported that Hunt’s lawyer, Shepard Kopp, said that the female victim initiated the confrontation and that Hunt was acting in self-defense. Crystal’s lawyer also reportedly said the actress was not drinking at the time.
