HOLLYWOOD—Actress Melissa George, 38, is expecting her second child with her boyfriend, film producer Jean David Blanc. The news was announced on June 5.
George and Blanc first met at a BAFTA after party in 2012 and began to date. The couple welcomed their first child, son Raphaël Blanc in February 2014.
She announced the news of her first pregnancy via Twitter. She wrote, “Baby on the way! So so happy.”
George tweeted at the time, “WELCOME TO THE WORLD! OUR BEAUTIFUL SON Raphael Blanc just born at the American hospital of Paris. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE LOVE.”
She was previously married to film director Claudio Dabed for 12 years. Their divorce was finalized in 2012.
George plays as Alex Panttiere in the upcoming NBC television series “Heartbreaker.” The network has pushed back the release date of the show due to her pregnancy.
“Heartbreakers” was originally planned to air this fall, but is now set to debut midseason following the news.
