HOLLYWOOD—With the popularity of 1999’s “The Best Man†and the box-office success of the sequel, “The Best Man Holiday,†it is no surprise a third installment in the franchise is headed to theaters. Universal Pictures announced on Wednesday, July 23, that “The Best Man Wedding†is slated to arrive in theaters in 2016.
The third film will reunite the cast from the previous installment as Terrence Howard’s character takes a trip down the aisle. Malcolm D. Lee will once again write and direct the film, which will be produced by Sean Daniel. “The Best Man Wedding†is expected to hit theaters on April 15, 2016.
