HOLLYWOOD—Last week’s episode of “True Blood” was full of emotion, so this week, things quickly ramped up as the series is leading up to the climatic series finale. Episode seven, “May Be the Last Time” saw Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) determined to receive answers from Amber about Sarah Newlin’s (Anna Camp) whereabouts. Torture was the name of the game, and Amber quickly revealed that Sarah is the cure to eradicating the Hep-v virus.

Eric pissed with Amber’s games dispatched of her like an afterthought. I didn’t expect him to react like that, but when you cross Eric, death is the only answer. Andy (Chris Bauer) and Holly (Lauren Bowles) continued their search for their children, but found no luck. Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) sat in comfort to discuss the virus’ speedy effects.

Jess was concerned when Andy revealed that Adilyn had gone missing, and wondered if she could sense Adilyn if she was in danger, which prompted Jess to become a bit concerned. The teens found themselves at Violet’s hideout, which isn’t as safe as they’d like to believe it is. In a strange moment, Adilyn received a kiss from Violet; ok, what was that about?

Arlene (Carrie Preston) was adamant that she would not get involved with a vampire, even though she was unable to fight the attraction that was present between her and the vampire who saved her life. It led to a steamy love making session on a pool table. Surprise, it was only a dream! The writers sure know how to pull one on the audience. Mr. Gus asked Eric to be his spokesperson for his company, but the vampire refused at first, but later called a truce.

Sookie made a promise to Jess that she was going to find a cure to the virus that is taking the people she cares about most away from her. Arlene was stunned to see Hoyt back in Bon Temps. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) was worried when Arlene gave him a call indicating that Hoyt has little memory of him. It was quite odd to see these best buddies converse without Hoyt recalling anything about their prior friendship. Sookie contacted a house doctor to treat Bill for his ailments; let’s just say she wasn’t the type of doctor most people expect. She is definitely one tough cookie who isn’t afraid of anything, except Niall.

Hoyt was emotional as he found himself confirming the body of his mother. Sookie called for her grandpa, who answered to her cries. The family members traded spars about her relationship to Bill, where Niall indicated that he was no fan.

Well, well, Sarah was still on the run, heading to a secluded home, as she heard voices all around her. She then saw Jason who warned her that death is coming after her and her time is up. Looks like Sarah might be losing her mind a bit, which gave Mr. Gus and Eric the useful information to locate the missing party. Sam (Sam Trammell) asked Arlene for advice about where to take his life in the midst of the chaos he is experiencing.

Chris and Holly arrived at the lake house where they expected to find their children, but instead they arrived at an empty house.  Andy unleashed a bit of emotion about the peace of the lake compared to the craziness of Bon Temps. It seems like everyone is resenting Bon Temps a bit. Sookie’s grandfather revealed that Bill’s wife gave birth to a child.

Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) arrived at
Tara’s childhood home, where they dug for answers. Violet surprised Adilyn and Wade during their love making session, where Jessica went rushing to Adilyn’s rescue, looks like a trap if you ask me. Pam and Eric thought they were being double crossed, but it wasn’t the case.  Sookie decided to stay by Bill’s side; they shared a passionate kiss to profess her love, which led to a heated love making session.

Sarah prayed to God, as she found herself being haunted by the men that she fornicated with; it was literally driving her insane.  Sookie may have made a grave mistake with Bill, but the way that this season is turning out, I have no clue how things will end with only three episodes left before the finale. Until next Sunday “True Blood” lovers!
