GLENDALE—Josway will be having their fashion show, “Whispers of the Spring” in Glendale on April 26. Josway was started by Jalisco-born, Josue Flores. According to the Josway website, the name Josway stuck after it was the provided spelling to help English speakers with the pronunciation of Flores’s first name, Josue.

Flores was born deaf and grew up attending school in Chapultec, Mexico before he moved to the United States for better educational opportunities at the age of 13. After graduating from high school in 2007, Flores began to attend college where he became familiar with the fashion industry.

The fashion show, created by fashion designer Josue Flores, indicates that a portion of the proceeds will be given to support youth programs offered by the Greater Los Angeles Area on Deafness (GLAD.) The event will be held at the CML Studios on 326 Mira Loma Avenue in Glendale, CA starting at 6:30 p.m. for VIP admission and 7:30 p.m. for general admission. The attire for the event is Hollywood Chic.

Tickets will be sold until April 25, or until tickets run out. General admission tickets cost $25, and VIP tickets cost $50. Tickets can be purchased online at:http://josway.com/#arvlbdata, or can be requested to be bought in-person by sending an email to: pr@pinkcrownmedia.com.
