WEST HOLLYWOOD—The 30th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles was held in West Hollywood and the Fairfax district on Sunday, October 12. The walk aimed to raise funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles and more than 20 otherLos Angeles County organizations. About 25,000 people were in attendance.

The walk started at West Hollywood Park at 10:00 a.m. The opening ceremony began at approximately 9:15 a.m. and included speeches by City of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, and WH Mayor John D’Amico.

The proceeds made to the organizations assist in providing food, medical care, and counseling for individuals who are affected by HIV and AIDS.
