SANTA MONICA—The Amanda Foundation is seeking the public’s help in locating a dog belonging to a local veterinarian.

Lucy, a female blue pit bull, has been missing since Monday, September 7 after she escaped from a pet sitter’s house located on Grant Street in Venice.

Lucy is 3 to 4 years old and described as weighing around 45 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black leather collar with turquoise and gold beading. According to the organization, she was spayed, tagged, and chipped.

Lucy was recently seen headed east on Rose and Walgrove streets by the PenMar Golf Course near the Santa Monica Municipal Airport.

A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information on the whereabouts of Lucy. Anyone with information on the dog’s whereabouts can call 310-266-4650.
