This honor is only given to the artist who truly has made exceptional contributions to the music world.

Some of the biggest names in the music biz that will be performing including: Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Pink, Shawn Mendes and Diana Ross. Gomez is set to perform “Wolves,” while Aguilera has a tribute to Whitney Houston and music from “The Bodyguard.” There are team-ups set to take place. Imagine Dragons is expected to perform with Khalid, and Alessia Cara will pair up with Zedd. Nominated for Artist of the Year, besides Mars is The Chainsmokers, Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran. The New Artist of the Year contenders include: James Arthur, Niall Horan, Post Malone, Julia Michaels, Portugal. The Man and Rae Sremmurd. Video of the Year- Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee for” Despacito,” Bruno Mars for “That’s What I Like,” and Ed Sheeran for “Shape of You.”

Lady Gaga, currently in the midst of her Joanne World Tour, will perform her latest hit “The Cure,” released as a standalone single ahead of her Coachella gig in April live from her Washington, D.C. stop. Sunday’s performance will mark the first major televised presentation of “The Cure,” since the song-produced by anonymous duo Detroit City-dropped earlier this year.
