BEVERLY HILLS-Adding to the list of celebrities boycotting the Dorchester hotel properties, is Vogue editor and Conde Nast artistic director, Anna Wintour. She has informed sources through a spokesperson, that she along with her staff plan to boycott all Dorchester hotel properties.

This line of hotels includes the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, as well as the line of European hotels used in the fashion community including the Le Meurice. Wintour who stays often at the Le Meurice informed the New York Times that she is sensitive to the potential impact that this issue may have on the wonderful staff at Le Meurice, I cannot in all good conscience stay there, nor can Vogue’s editors.”

The boycott is an issue concerning human rights and the Sultan of Brunei who has implemented laws making homosexuality punishable in his country with death by stoning. Other notable celebrities who have joined in the boycott include Jay Leno, Richard Branson, Sharon Osbourne and Ellen DeGeneres among others.
