According to a flyer for the workshop provided by the OC-DEAF website, the event aims to “provide a child with Deaf language and culture” by “looking for caring parents to foster and adopt Deaf children.” The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Five Acres and the Children's Bureau. U.S. government—and in fact, the world—to focus exclusively on improving the lives of children and families. [They] celebrated a full century of progress on our centennial anniversary, April 9, 2012,” as stated on the website.
