Annual Malibu Arts Festival Is Back!

MALIBU—The 41st annual Malibu Arts Festival was Saturday July 28 through Sunday, July 29, at 23555 Civic Center Way. The festival was a most exciting event with award winning painters, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, and many more different genres of art! The festival showcased over 200 fine art exhibits under individual tents.
Nick Rodionoff, head coach of the women’s swimming and diving team at Pepperdine, made this his 40th year participating in the arts festival.
Food and drinks were served at the food truck terrace from companies such as Patty Wagon and A Rockin Ice offering much needed shaved ice in this warm weather. The Optimist Club of Malibu hosted their pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m. before the festival.
The festival also had tents where the community could support our troops, grab some goodies for their dogs, and enjoy a children’s reading hosted by the Malibu library. It was an event to entertain all art lovers!
The Malibu Chamber of Commerce hosted the event and showcased its business members. Admission was free but with limited free parking.
