Beverly Hills Enrichment Classes: The City of Beverly Hills is offering enrichment classes this spring for students in grades K through 8. Various classes will be offered, including cooking, yoga, gymnastics, fashion, "eco-station with animals," music, dance and chess club and the popular "Mad Science" class, among many others. Classes will take place at El Rodeo, Hawthorne, Horace Mann and Beverly Vista Schools. To find out more and sign up for classes, visit

The City of Beverly Hills is purchasing new streetlights and South Beverly Drive will get its own streetlights with special pedestrian lights. Local feedback is sought. City engineers will be present at this meeting to answer any and all questions. Refreshments will be provided.

holding various Preview Parties throughout Los Angeles to recruit participants for both the Nike Women's Marathon and Nation's Triathlon races. The Nike Women's Marathon will take place in San Francisco
on October 18th, 2009 and the Nation's Triathlon will take place in
Washington, D.C., on September 13, 2009. Participants will raise funds for
LLS and help cancer patients. There will sign-up incentives, food, and free massages!
