Roxbury Reels Free Movie Screenings

All this month, the City of Beverly Hills will be presenting four classic and much-beloved James Bond films, all starring Sean Connery. One movie will be screened each week, and admission is free. You can even bring your own snacks. "Dr. No" will be featured on June 4; "From Russia With Love" will play on June 11; "Goldfinger" takes center stage on June 18, and the 1965 classic "Thunderball" will be featured on June 25.
Michael Palladino at the Design Review Commission

On June 4, renowned architect Michael Palladino will be putting in a special appearance at the Beverly Hills Design Review Commission meeting. Palladino has been part of the design process for a number of high-profile modern architectural feats, including the Getty Center and 9900 Wilshire. Palladino will speak on architecture principles, his work and the professional work of his architecture firm, Richard Meier & Partners.

A special weekend theater experience for kids and parents to enjoy. The classic "Cinderella" will be performed at the Santa Monica Playhouse every weekend throughout 2009. Admission is $12.50 per adult, $10.50 for children 12 and under. Tea parties and birthday parties can be arranged along with the performance. Enchanted Lunchtime Fairytale Parties can also be arranged through the theater.
"The Miracle Worker"

Back by popular demand, William Gibson's "The Miracle Worker" is available for viewing in Santa Monica, and you don't want to miss it! This production, at the Edgemar Center for the Arts, has been receiving rave reviews, and it around for only a limited time! Erin Shaver plays Annie Sullivan and Carlie Nettles portrays Helen Keller, alongside a strong cast, including Stuart W. Howard, Julie Austin Felder and Christopher Irving. Directed and designed by Joel Daavid, this production of the "Miracle Worker" is a great entertainment for a coming weekend. Tickets are $25.
