No Photo Ops: The altercation between Spears' bodyguard and photographer.
|
LAS VEGAS - Even when on vacation, Britney Spears is still in the spotlight. While Spears was relaxing at the
Wynn
Hotel and Casino in
Las Vegas on Thursday, one of her bodyguards and a paparazzi photographer clashed in a violent dispute over Spears’ oldest son, Sean Preston.
The entire group was thrown out of the posh hotel, where the
Las Vegas police quickly arrived to handle the altercation.
Following the incident, Spears filed a crime report alleging that the photographer had assaulted her nearly two-year-old toddler.
Reports of the altercation claim that Britney’s bodyguard, Julio “J.C.” Camera, shoved a photographer after he got too close to Spears and her son. In turn, the photographer hit Sean Preston with his camera while falling backwards. Camera then apparently tackled the photographer to the ground and began pummeling him until he was pulled off by Wynn security guards. Camera was later issued a citation for misdemeanor battery.
However, according to the police report filed by Spears, a second photographer, Kyle Henderson, had assaulted both Camera and Spears’ son prior to the fight. Meanwhile, other accounts of the incident identified
Henderson as the same photographer who was attacked by Camera.
According to a press release by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the altercation occurred at 11:55 AM on Thursday, July 26. The release also stated that both incidents remain under investigation. Once the two men were separated, Wynn staff asked everyone involved to leave the premises and requested that Spears check out of the hotel.
