BEVERLY HILLS—Nothing eases a troubled mind like a delicious piece of chocolate. As if the world isn't plagued with enough temptation, K Chocolatier establishes a new meaning to pleasure with various flavors that will outshine any other chocolate you've ever tasted.
Diane Krön

Diane and
Tom Krön began in 1973 while in New York City providing customers with chocolate covered strawberries and an assortment of Hungarian chocolate of established fine quality. A variety of renown names have proven their loyalty to K Chocolatier's impeccable creations such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Andy Warhol, Katherine Hepburn, Henry Ford and Estee Lauder to name a few. Titled the "Rolls Royce of Chocolates" by the Food Network, K Chocolatier is no stranger to compliments.

The chocolate brand resides in three locations: Beverly Hills, Malibu and New York City. The chocolate is manufactured daily in Los Angeles and then shipped to the shop's location in New York. The business has remained in the hands of family as son David takes part in the process of making the chocolate while son Elie maintains the shop located on the east coast.

The chocolates provided for customers are made fresh and in limited quantities. Customers will also be pleased to know that the chocolate is crafted with a small amount of sugar and a big kick of taste.
Other than an incredible variety of chocolate treats the brand also offers party favors, special corporate gifts and holiday and seasonal gifts.

The Beverly Hills location is a small, quaint shop amongst many well-known stores on Rodeo Drive. However, don't be fooled by its size because this shop has more to offer than what meets the eye. The great thing about going to the location, as opposed to ordering chocolate via their website, is the fact that a variety of samples are provided to ensure your approval of the product before you purchase it.
K Bears-"Little crispy teddy bear shapes covered in milk, dark & white chocolate"

The shop is constantly praised, and rightfully so, for their K bears which are crisped rice covered in your choice of milk, white or dark chocolate taking on the shapes of little bears. As my personal taste buds are more accustomed to the sweetness of milk chocolate and appeases any taste of bitterness, I was pleasantly surprised when first trying the dark chocolate K bear. I found the taste to be incredibly smooth and satisfyingly buttery, thoroughly changing my outlook on dark chocolate.

Another personal favorite would have to be the K Chocolate Truffles. Another delicious dark chocolate piece with various textures that are both uncommon and incredibly alluring. Diane
Krön's favorite piece offered on their extensive menu? "The vodka shot [K Liquors]. You'll need a designated driver afterwards," she jokes.

When asked what it is about K Chocolatier that makes it stand out, Krön's response was simple. "We know how to make great chocolate." There's nothing more to be said. It is a simple truth that is proven to be true time and time again. Quality isn't something you can fake, you either have it or you don't and K Chocolatier certainly has it.
