Turturro and Weaver are set to play Ramses' parents, while Paul will play a Hebrew slave. Paul is best known for playing Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad,” and the actor will next be seen in an upcoming adaptation of “Need For Speed.”

Turturro will star opposite Woody Allen in the comedy “Fading Gigolo,” which he wrote and directed. This is the first time Weaver will reteam with Scott since 1979’s “Alien.”

The 20th Century Fox movie features a script by Steve Zallian, Adam Cooper and Bill Collage that follows the story of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt into the Sinai dessert. “Exodus” is slated to hit theaters on December 12, 2014.
