Unlike the Academy Awards, the MTV Movie Awards allows the public to partake in the voting process, allowing more popular pictures to get recognition compared to being overlooked by the more esteemed Oscars.
For those already planning to make predictions, you can bet “The Avengers” and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” are likely to dominate a majority of the categories next year. So mark your calendars, because on April 14 the coveted golden popcorn will be handed out a bit earlier than expected.
