"The Twilight Zone" Movie Gets A New Writer

HOLLYWOOD—“The Twilight Zone” feature film has brought on screenwriter Ari Eli Coleite. The project continues to swap out writers and directors as they try get the feature going.

Joseph Kosinski is set to direct the film.


Joseph Kosinski, who helmed “Oblivion,” has been brought on to direct the picture, replacing Matt Reeves. The movie has been in production since 2009 and before Coleite numerous writers tried to take on the project. “Invictus” writer Anthony Peckham was set to write and before him Jason Rothenberg, Rand Ravich and Joby Harold.


Coleite has helmed such screenplays for “Rivers” and “Heroes.” Leonardo DiCaprio’s company Appian Way is producing the project for Warner Bros. The movie won’t be an anthology like the past “The Twilight Zone” movie, as this film will instead revolve around a particular storyline.
