HOLLYWOOD—A man is dead, and his teenage son is on trial for his murder. The case has been presented and now it's up to the jury to decide.

This 1957 classic drama begins with the dismissal of the twelve man jury; the deliberation room is where the story unfolds. A vote is cast, 11-1 in favor of guilt and the death penalty. Henry Fonda stars as juror No. 8, the only one to vote not guilty. Fonda is determined to bring his concerns for reasonable doubt to the forefront.

You will examine the case with the jurors as testimony and evidence are dissected. Personal prejudice is uncovered and explodes as the deliberations come to a close. Filmed essentially in the same room, this movie marks the directing debut of Sidney Lumet and stars fellow actors, Lee J. Cobb and Jack Klugman.
