HOLLYWOOD—This 1937 comedy classic marks the first pairing of Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. Jerry (Grant) and his wife Lucy (Dunne) are divorcing over their lack of trust in each other. As their divorce proceeds, their biggest concern is over who will obtain custody of their dog named Mr. Smith. When other suitors enter the picture for the pair, sparks fly.

This light comedy is filled with witty and perfectly timed dialogue, as Jerry and Lucy wrestle with their feelings and each other's suitors. Director Leo McCarey won an Oscar for Best Director and Dunne was nominated for Best Actress.

While the comedy is not side splitting, there is a wonderful blend of slapstick and wit, enough to keep you entertained and waiting for the inevitable reunion of this perfectly matched pair.
