Kyle Relaxes Between Musical Sets
For those who have not gotten to know the international acting and singing legend Kyle Lowder, here’s a little introduction. The handsome young man was born in Saint Louis, Mo. He moved with his family to the east coast when he was three years old. Growing up thirty miles from New York City in Westchester County, N.Y., placed Kyle in a position to be affected by the performing arts at a young age. The eldest of three boys, he was born into an athletic family to which Kyle credits his work ethic, focus and determination. He was involved in athletics from the beginning of his life, and would eventually go on to letter in varsity football as the starting quarterback for his high school team. At age 14, Kyle began studying music theory and voice performance with Renato Mario Vellutino of Italian opera fame.

Fast forward a couple decades, and Kyle blew fans away with his awesome performance as Brady on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives.” He got to work with greats such as Deidre Hall and John Aniston on that soap, and learned so much from his time there. “It was wonderful working with so many talented actors. Plus Ken Corday is an icon in daytime television and he was always open to input. It’s no wonder ‘Days’ remains on NBC as their only soap,” said the actor.

Then some time later the king of daytime Bradley P. Bell, who won the 2009 and 2010 Emmy® Award for Best Daytime Drama tapped Lowder in the recasting of a pivotal character Rick Forrester. Rick is the son of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester, and fans fell in love with the handsome blue-eyed star immediately. “To this day I am recognized by fans and viewers for those two roles,” said Lowder. “I am very lucky to have been a part of such legendary television series. And wow, it’s amazing how popular they remain especially in Europe and around the world.”

Performing Is Second Nature
Lowder’s fans in Australia have been consistently writing to me and asking when he will appear Down Under again. “Tell them how much I appreciate their love and support, Tommy. I hope to be traveling soon performing, they need to keep an eye on my official website for upcoming show dates,” said Kyle. Lisa Rodgers, a nurse and huge Kyle Lowder supporter in Melbourne, said, “I hope that he’ll pay Melbourne a visit his next trip to Australia. I know he visited Sydney on his last trip, but we would love to see him here. My mum (Nancy) and I would be the first to purchase tickets to hear him sing.”

For those who want to purchase Lowder’s debut album, it’s available on Amazon.com and iTunes. “I am very happy with the response. Thank everyone for their support,” concluded the singer. Here’s a sneak peek of the handsome star on stage performing. Reader Bobby Head, who has been a fan of Kyle’s for eight years, said, “I sure hope Mr. Bell will add Kyle to the exciting storylines going on now on his soap. Brooke needs her son’s advice, Steffy needs a man other than married Bill Spencer, Owen and Jackie need sexy Rick to give them trouble and Amber sure is going to need a shoulder to cry on if her schemes blow up in her pretty face. On top of it all, I recently heard Kyle sing on iTunes and cannot say enough about the most talented man in Hollywood today.”
