SHERMAN OAKSSteven Zale’s jewelry designs will be making another showcase appearance, this time at the prestigious Forbes Galleries in New York City. The designs of Zalemark Inc. have landed him in the top 25 chosen to participate in the showcase in the spring of 2008.

Zalemark Inc. was founded by Steven Zale more than 25 years ago and has become a leader in the jewelry industry in the years since then. “The company is based in Sherman Oaks and has also become the manufacturer of many celebrity endorsed brands,” said a press release on PR Web.

Zale was chosen by the National Jewelry Institute (NJI) from a pool of over 500 designers that were hoping to be able to take part in such a well-known artistic debut showcase. “Steven Zale’s work is marked with an individual design approach. That’s what we look for when selecting designers to take part in the Designer Showcase,” said a representative from the NJI.

The National Jewelry Institute, founded in 2002, is a non-profit business whose mission is to research and show fine jewelry from all over the world. To date, exhibitions have been held in New York, Paris, and London. The NJI’s usual exhibits showcase historical pieces, whereas the spring 2008 showcase will include pieces from today’s proven designers.

“I am very excited to be participating in this [showcase],” said Zale. “I’ve always considered every aspect of the pieces I design. I make sure to choose the right color and cut so that the piece will accentuate the beauty of the buyer.”
