On October 23, the Kodak Theater in Hollywood hosted the Bogart Tour for a Cure, an event honoring supporters of the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the T.J. Martell Foundation. The program is dedicated to supporting projects shown to be innovative in the diagnosis, treatment, care and cure of children’s cancer, leukemia and AIDs. These programs are funded on a research development grant basis in order to secure more substantial support from funding sources.

Volunteers from both the entertainment industry and general communities support the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program. Lending their talents by performing at the Kodak event were Gavin DeGraw, Jonny Lang, Michael McDonald and Seal. Among the recipients of the Children’s Choice Award was Queen Latifah for her commitment to the children. Also honored was Tim Leiweke, a leader in the professional sports and entertainment industries, and Capitol Records executive Bruce Lundvall.
