VARIOUS—The locks to the property of Anna
Nicole Smith continue to be changed over disputes of who the real owner of the
property is.
Presently, the developer of the property, as
well as, Smith’s companion are fighting over the estate. Smith’s attorney,
Wayne Munroe, has taken control and possession of the estate. Smith’s
companion, Howard K. Stern, has had the locks changed on several different
occasions over the weekend and just recently returned to the estate on February
11. Stern and fellow members of his team arrived to the property and were seen
leaving with several personal items within the estate.
Anna Nicole Smith’s attorney says that the
house belongs to Stern, whom many believe to be the father of her newborn
daughter. The attorney for the
US
developer, out of
South Carolina,
said that his client had the locks changed on Friday, as well as, had a chain
placed on the gate. The developer had a brief relationship with Smith and was
said to have given the house to the late star as a gift.
Smith’s daughter is currently with Smith’s
companion, Howard K. Stern. Smith has several other properties including one in
Studio City,
California.
Along with the estate disputes are paternity
disputes over Smith’s daughter, Danielynn. Many feel that the best way to look
out for the best interests of the late star’s daughter is to address the issues
surrounding Smith’s affairs. Her estate dealings could potentially take care of
the baby or leave her with nothing at all.
The paternity confirmation is still ongoing.
