Kate Linder Always Parties For A Good Cause

BEVERLY HILLS—Keeping up with Kate Linder is my workout regimen. Some people go to gyms and hire personal trainers, but all I need to do is follow behind her, while being in awe of all the places she manages to go to and how respected and welcomed the “Y&R” star is. When Kate is not working on “The Young and the Restless,” or flying the friendly skies as a flight attendant for a major airline, which she’s done for decades, she can be seen at various soup kitchens and shelters downtown in Los Angeles helping the homeless and the needy. “I feel as though I need to give back,” Linder, the beautiful actress told Canyon News recently.

Though finding her at two events last week, it was fun to see she’s still looking great and enjoying life. Linder joined Nancy Cartwright, the iconic voice of Bart Simpson, when Cartwright hosted her Fourth Annual Monte Carlo Night. Cartwright is a board member of PALS [Police Activities League Supporters], and she opened up her beautiful home for the fundraiser for the fourth year in a row. The funds she’s already raised helped build a new youth center, the Councilman Greig Smith LAPD Devonshire PALS Youth Center. All the profits from this year’s event went to funding materials and programs for the center, which provides after school activities and motivational opportunities for potentially ‘at risk’ youth.

If that wasn’t enough. Soon after Cartwright’s event, Linder was seen at the Total Woman Gym and Day Spa’s 44^th Anniversary party in Woodland Hills, where many celebrities packed the red carpet and posed for photographers. Linder tells Canyon News, “Tommy, I love seeing you at these events, I appreciate you keeping up with my career and everything I do for charity.” Thom Bierdz, Linder’s “Y&R” costar tells Canyon News, “Kate is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met. She’s always out there making a difference in this town and helping as many people as she can. I can’t figure out where she gets so much energy. I’m in awe of her.”

Linder was seen with Camryn Manheim and 2006 World Series of Poker winner Jamie Gold Ms. Cartwright's PALS event. While catching up with Giselle Samson from “America’s Next Top Model” and actress McKenzie Westmore from NBC’s “Passions” at the Woodland Hills event celebrating the 44^th Anniversary of Total Woman Gym and Day Spa’s event.

Kate Linder can be seen weekdays as Esther Valentine on “The Young and the Restless” on CBS.
