On Tuesday, July 15, the Japanese company confirmed with a press release a planned appearance at the annual
“Comic-Con gives us a chance to interact with thousands of current and future Nintendo fans. The Nintendo booth (No. 235) at the Convention Center will focus on the company's upcoming game Pikmin 3 for the Wii U, and the booth will provide game play kiosks as well as photo opportunities based on the game.
Those without a Comic-Con badge can visit the Nintendo Gaming Lounge, which will host numerous other Nintendo games for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
Visitors will be able to get their hands on numerous games, including “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker HD,” “Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze,” “Super Mario: 3D World” and “The Wonderful 101” for the Wii U and “Yoshi's
Nintendo plans to host fun activities and photo opportunities, culminating on the last day of Comic-Con with an invitation to all costumed guests to participate in a group photo at 2 p.m.
Comic-Con International begins on Thursday, July 18 and ends on Sunday, July 21.
