BEVERLY
HILLS—This week in Hollywoodland, “True Blood” is down to two more
episodes, with tomorrow night’s “Soul of Fire” about to eclipse in
excitement of all other episodes so far this season. Marnie/Antonia may
unearth a powerful, demonic and lethal ally in her war against the
vampires, which has been declared by King Bill Compton of Louisiana last
week. We have one more exclusive never-before-seen photograph of
Michael Jackson from 1978, and two major Hollywood icons, actors Shia
LaBeouf and Matthew Fox, made news for all the wrong reasons. But for
now, back to your exclusive “True Blood” preview of tomorrow night’s
gripping story.
On Sunday night’s episode of “True
Blood,” titled “Soul of Fire,” viewers can expect a lot of twists and
turns in the magnificently written, acted and directed episode. Last
week, Marnie/Antonia kidnapped Sookie and Lafayette, who were running
toward the Moon Goddess to save Tara, Holly, Jesus and the Wicca
followers, who are now being held against their will by Marnie and the
400-year-old witch Antonia, who is in possession of Marnie’s body.
Also, after Sookie’s fairy powers broke
the spell Antonia held over Eric, King Bill of Louisiana decided it’s
war; and he’s not about to allow Antonia to kill anymore vampires. As
the episode ended to the hit song “Burning Down the House,” viewers saw
Bill, Jessica, Pam and Eric headed to the Moon Goddess with missiles,
bombs and firearms. Unbeknownst to the vampire warriors, Marnie/Antonia
now holds their beloved Sookie with her group inside the building, and
she’s not about to go down in flames quite yet.
Tomorrow night, as the Wicca-vampire
standoff reaches a critical juncture, Sookie (Anna Paquin) summons her
faerie powers to prevent Marnie (Fiona Shaw) from bewitching Bill
(Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van
Straten) into a suicide march. That’s right, Sookie has now become more
powerful and she’s about to match wits and determinations with
Marnie/Antonia and anyone else who plans on destroying the Viking
vampire (Eric) or the Civil War hero (Bill).
Sookie will have an ally, when
Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) decides to cast a secret spell designed to
un-bind Marnie/Antonia and break the witch’s deadly defenses. The spell,
however, may backfire, and place someone he loves in grave danger.
While Tommy’s death is still fresh to viewers, it’s even more raw to
brother Sam (Sam Trammell), who once and for all settles a score with
Marcus (Dan Buran). Sam finds a werewolf on his side in Alcide (Joe
Manganiello), who is pushed to the brink after Sam’s confrontation with
his pack master, and then Alcide confronts Debbie (Brit Morgan) about
her allegiances. Truth is, viewers know that Debbie is only allied with
herself, and Alcide may not find that out in time. Sheriff Andy (Chris
Bauer) finds unexpected passion in the forest on his way back home after
Terry’s successful intervention to get Andy to stop using V. And for
Truebies, we all know that Lafayette is a powerful conduit that manages
to bring back spirits from the dead, yet tomorrow night on “True Blood,“
Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) becomes consumed by the past.
In a shocking twist, expect
Marnie/Antonia to unearth a powerful and lethal ally in her battle
against the vampires, which reaches a fever pitch just in time for next
week’s season finale, which will leave viewers breathless.

“Soul
of Fire” is written by Mark Hudis and directed by Michael Lehmann. The
episode airs on Sunday night at 9 p.m. exclusively on HBO. Don’t miss
it, or you may end up as toast! Or could that be some of
Marnie/Antonia’s adversaries? I can’t tell, but you won’t want to miss
it! Here’s a sneak peek for fans.
“Oh s***. Marnie just puked a bi*** out.”
“You can’t blow that place up…Sookie’s in there.”
As hard as it is to believe, actor Keanu
Reeves turned 47 this week. It seems as though it was just yesterday
that he was being considered one of the most intriguing and talented
actors of his time. Now he joins stars such as Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise,
who seem to be heading for that milestone of 50.
Hollywood superstardom, banking $50
million a year and being the object of so many millions of young female
fans, doesn’t seem to be enough for “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf. At
least that’s what some are saying. The handsome actor has been accused
of allegedly behaving like he was having a meltdown at a party last
week. An alleged witness tells Life
& Style magazine that the “Transformers” star endured a “public
meltdown” of some kind, picking up a water bottle and shooting "a
mouthful of water all over his seated date’s legs. Then, he put more
water in his mouth and started spitting it all over his tablemates,
including Marilyn Manson.” A rep for LaBeouf doesn’t shoot down much of
this account, but simply said his client always meant to leave early and
“no altercation occurred.”
Then there’s the alleged behavior of
“Party of Five” and “Lost” leading man Matthew Fox. Last week on a trip
to Ohio, Fox was accused of hitting a woman several times, who was
described as a bus driver. The Cleveland-based party bus driver
described the handsome actor as “smelling like a bar” before allegedly
assaulting her. I’m sure this is a story that will be around for a
while. Stay tuned.

Michael Jackson was perhaps the biggest star at the end of the 20th
Century around the world. Still beloved by millions of fans, with new
admirers showing their devotion to his music and his legacy. Next week,
the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who was Jackson’s personal physician and
who was allegedly the last person to see the pop icon alive, will start
on Thursday, September 8 with jury selection. Dr. Murray has continued
to claim his innocence and the case will be decided by a jury of his
peers.
However, as we drive past the estate in Bel Air daily, it is often
very chilling to think that Michael Jackson, the former King of Pop
music, is gone and his family still contends that his death was not an
accident. Last week, I had the honor of being able to show Michael’s
fans never-before-seen photographs taken in March of 1978 by famed
photograph Reggie Garcia, who hopes the sale of Jackson’s images will
fund his invention, which he believes greatly in. Garcia’s business
partners David and Michael Marohnic believe very much in his invention,
which has been featured on CNN. The team really believes in Jackson’s
legacy, and after a week of heavy bidding on the photographs, they have
decided to speak with a very distinguished and world-renowned auction
house before agreeing to the offers they received over the past 72
hours.
Here’s an opportunity for Canyon News readers only to see a
never-before-seen photograph of Jackson just before his last “Jackson
Five” tour in 1978.
Have a great weekend, see you next week! XOXO
