Pet Tips for Halloween

  1. Keep your pet safely in a room away from the trick-or-treaters.  All that bell ringing excitement might make Fido run out the opening and closing door or he might bite that ghost or witch!
  2. Don't take your dog trick-or-treating.  If you do, keep him on a short leash to be in control of any unusual reactions to the goings on.
  3. Don't give pets candy!  It's not so great for the kiddies' teeth either, but chocolate, as all pet owners should know, can be deadly for pets.

  4. Keep an eye on your black cat (all cats should be inside anyway!). Unfortunately there are weirdoes out there that seek black cats out for bizarre Halloween rituals.
