Mindset

A mindset is a group of beliefs that you hold as true in a certain area.  You may be wanting to change your experience and finding yourself in a struggle with that.  Beliefs create experiences, thoughts create experiences.  It can be helpful to get quiet and look at underlying beliefs that are in opposition to what you say you want to experience.

A mindset is when the group of beliefs on any subject seems to be so real and so much a part of you that you begin to think it cannot change.  It seems that it is just the truth and that’s the way it is.  A mindset seems to be a part of you and may also contain feelings that don’t feel so great.  It can feel too hard to change even if you think it is possible, that is just part of the mindset.  It can feel frustrating to just have to deal with it at all.  This all stems from a group of beliefs that one chooses.  You can choose to change how you think and it will get easier.  You can choose to change how you think and your experiences will change.  You can have what you truly want.

 

Some Things to Remember About Mindsets.

 

  1. A mindset is an ingrained habitual way of thinking. 

 

  1. You may have feelings and beliefs that have been with you a long time, that doesn’t make them an unchangeable truth.

 

  1.  To truly change the outer experience, change how you think, feel and believe about it.

 

  1. Even if everyone you know is doing things a certain way or thinking a certain way, it doesn’t mean its right for you.

 

  1. You can change the way you think and feel about your self in any area of your life.  You can support your outer experience with high quality inner beliefs.

 

  1. You can change the way you think even if you feel uncomfortable or frustrated.  Thank the uncomfortable feelings and choose a better thought.

 

  1. Take an area of your life and DECIDE how you want to feel about it.  Choose what you want to believe and look for evidence to support those new thoughts.  Make them your reality.

 

  1. Do you want to believe that you can lose weight, you can have the career you desire, you can have the best of love?  Choose to believe it, tell yourself it is so, thank every opposing belief and gently let them go.

 

  1. Your thoughts do create your reality.  Inner life flows to outer experience.

 

  1.  As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

 

  1. Mindsets are neither positive or negative.  Choose a new mindset that gives you the nurturing and fuel to create the life you desire now.
