Thoughts and Words
By Kelly Carroll
Your thoughts and words are very powerful. They are the energy of beliefs that move you from where you are right now into what you will experience next. Many people have heard by now that your thoughts create your reality.Do you really believe it?Do you use the natural power available to you in every moment to create the kind of life that you would love to be living?
How thoughts create – step one:It doesn’t matter. We don not need to spend out time figuring out how, just know that it is true and begin trying it out.You will soon come to see the undeniable truth that you can change your experience by changing your thoughts. It has been said many times about this subject, “Well, I don’t know how electricity works, I just use it.”So for anyone who wants to claim their natural inner power and use it to make something new happen in their life, just give it a try.The Universe is big and we don’t have to worry about the how.
Imagine your overall thought patterns are like a car. What are you driving? Is it a car that is just right for you?Shiny, new, well kept up, comfortable?Or are you getting around in a way that is a bit rundown, it just doesn’t fit who you are anymore? You can change your thoughts about your experience, about how you feel about yourself, and more. You can change your thoughts about the way others relate to you and guess what, you will see a change in your everyday life.
Worry is a form of thinking that most people are familiar with. It seems like if something we don’t like is going on the best thing to do is worry about it.Worry is just tossing around the same group of thoughts again and again and mixing them with fear.It seems important - as if thinking about it so much will help figure out a solution. When we are upset or afraid it seems like the natural thing to do for many people. It can be a habit, the most common way someone responds to a problem in their life.Worry rarely solves the concern at hand.It makes the thinker feel terrible, it upsets the body, and it usually does not solve the problem. The solution or next step to take usually comes after we release the worry, even if for a moment.Think about it, you can worry all day about something, and then go to sleep and the next morning it feels a bit easier to handle.Or a solution will pop up that you could not think of in the midst of the worry session. That is because you gave the mind a rest and allowed something fresh to enter, even if it had to happen while you were asleep!
So if you are faced with a problem, can you just not worry about it and have it change for the better?Absolutely! And it is so freeing to hold it up to your higher self or God and say, “I don’t have the answer. Please send me the next step.”You will be shown.
If you are at the point where there is nothing major going wrong and you just want to create some new feelings and experiences in your life, the way you think will very quickly bring you more of what you want.Focus on what you want to see happen and let go of thinking about what you do not want to see happen.Sounds so easy, and it is.Most of us do have a habit of looking at what we don’t want as well as the positive, especially if the subject is close to our heart. If you really want to see a change for the better in your relationships, take a few creative moments and think about an ideal scene of how you would like to be treated. Then, later if thoughts of “What if I can’t have this?” come up, just gently circle them in light in your imagination and let it go.This simple practice works with any subject.Once you start focusing on what you do want, believe me, you will be shown the places where you are focusing on it in a way you don’t want!Don’t give up.Play with it.Shift it.You will begin to see some evidence of change in your outer life.Keep going, keep imagining your good and it Will begin to flow all around you!
