Actors With The Most Money!
Posted by Rose Quintiliano on Jul 25, 2014 - 3:57:45 AM

HOLLYWOOD—So who is the highest earning actor in Hollywood? According to Forbes, the highest paid actor is Robert Downey Jr. The 49-year-old star made most of his money from June 2013 to June 2014 from “Iron Man 3,” which took in a whopping $1.2 billion. He's not hanging up his Iron Man suit anytime soon.

It seems that he is considering making a fourth "Iron Man," movie depending on what Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures can come up with. Thanks to Downey who kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2008 with the first film, it followed up with two sequels and the super-hero flick "The Avengers." Those four movies alone made Downey the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. This is his second year in a row topping the list with an estimated earning salary of $75 million.

He is followed by the one and only Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at $52 million. Johnson has spent the year making movies like "Hercules," and "San Andreas." The 42-year-old former wrestler, starred in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” and the "Fast and Furious," films. In third place is Bradley Cooper, 39, with $46 million. His films include the "Hangover" franchise, which have proved to be lucrative.

Let's not forget about Leonardo DiCaprio, 39, who had a very lucrative year with the film "The Wolf of Wall Street." The film has been an inspiration to aspiring Jordan Belforts on Wall Street. He raked in a whopping $39 million. While Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his work in “Thor” took the number five spot with $37 million.

So where does Tom Cruise stand?  Cruise is still high in salary. He received millions from his film "War of the Worlds." The handsome actor started his career at the age of 19. It was the film "Top Gun," which was the turning point in his career. He is reportedly earning $7.5 million per film, since most of his films have created box-office records and collected a huge amount of money.

It pays to be an actor in Hollywood. Actors like Ben Stiller, Sacha Baron, Johnny Depp, Adam Sandler, Will Smith, and Mark Wahlberg are all highly paid actors with an estimated $30 million for their films. Hope these actors aren’t crying into their diamond-crusted mugs of beer in their pity party.

That's right, Only One Direction! The group has announced that a second film based on their latest world tour is to be screened in cinemas around the world. The stars were filmed as they performed at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, last month. “One Direction: Where We Are” also contains a 15-minute interview and some behind-the scenes footage.

The film will be seen at more than 10,000 screenings across more than 50 territories on October 11 and 12. It is believed to be just as successful as the documentary "This is Us." The Morgan Spurlock-directed 3D film grossed $68.5 million worldwide. It was back in 2010 on “The X Factor,” that Simon Cowell discovered the five stars. Tickets will be going on sale on July 28. The band will also start their U.S. tour next month.

Rose’s Scoop: Is Bieber a bad neighbor? First it was in Calabasas, California, where the neighbors complained about the singer and his pals recklessly speeding through the streets. Now, he’s living in Beverly Hills, where he moved into a condo building, and his new neighbors called police six times over the weekend to complain about music coming from the roof deck, TMZ reports. Looks like if the local police cite the singer, it will trigger the probation violation in his recent vandalism plea deal.
