HOLLYWOOD
—Mother's Day will be celebrated on May 12, 2013, and women all over the world will be honored by their loved ones. Mothers are special and when it comes to celebrity first- time moms it is even more special. Some of the celebrity moms that will be celebrating  for the first time are; Adele, Megan Fox,  Kristen Bell, Snooki, Claire Danes, Holly Madison, Giuliana Rancic, Shakira, Sienna Miller, Kristin Cavalleri, Vanessa Lachey and Drew Barrymore. Regardless if you are a celebrity mom, a mom that works a 12-hour shift, a deployed mom in the service, it is your day, a day to enjoy and celebrate, to be proud of all you have accomplished in your life. A day to smile.

Madonna, mother of four, including two adopted children from Malawi, will be honored at the Billboard Music Awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 19th for her 2012 MDNA tour that grossed more than $305 million from 88 sold-out shows and attracted an audience of 2.2 million people. She will accept the Top Touring Artist award. Madonna is no stranger to awards, she has numerous Billboard awards, including the record for the most 10 singles (38). She is a great humanitarian as well; she is planning on building 10 schools in the African nation. She recently sold a 1921 art painting by the French artist Fernand Leger, "Trois Femmes a la Table Rouge," for a whopping $7.16 million to raise money for her Ray of Light foundation, to fund girl’s education in poor countries.

The event is set to be a great night for Taylor Swift, fun. and Maroon 5, who are all up for 11 nominations each, according the organizers. Prince is scheduled to be presented with the Billboard Icon Award.

The Brits are back. The Rolling Stones kicked off their 50 & Counting tour last week at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles. Some of the famous faces in the crowd were; Jack Nicholson, Melanie Griffith, Kelsey Grammer and Pierce Brosnan. Even former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor made an appearance to play guitar, NME.com reported. No Doubt star Gwen Stefani turned up in a Stones tank top to perform alongside Jagger on Wild Horses.  The Stones tour includes stops in Las Vegas; Boston, Toronto and Europe.

Rose's Scoop: Don't know what to buy Mom for Mother's Day? Here is a Mother's Day gift guide; The Mom and Grandma Charms are really charming and trendy in silver and gold, $36 each by shopstelladot.com. Signature chocolate ganaches, with flavors ranging from Mojito to Madagascar, $60 for a box of 25. An herb garden, from Williams-Sonoma, williamssonoma.com. $139.95. The book by actress Nia Vardalos “Instant Mom,” is undeniably charming. She loves to cook, some ceramic personalized casserole dishes by redenvelope.com. They have everything from bangles to tulips. You can always make your own gift basket of her favorite things would be appreciated, or making her dinner, framing a picture and even just a text message to show you care.

Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day!
