Fall's Hottest TV Shows!
Posted by Rose Quintiliano on Oct 7, 2012 - 6:00:37 PM

HOLLYWOODIt was two years ago this month that Instagram was launched. The free photo-sharing social network is phenomenal, especially  if you love to take photos, then Instagram is for you. Instagram has an estimated 100 million users. On April 12,2012, Facebook acquired Instagram for approximately $1 billion in cash and stock. Instagram is similar to Twitter, however Twitter still remains more popular. Twitter is somewhat difficult to comprehend for some, yet simple to master. People still fell reluctant to sign up for an account in the Twitter universe due to stalkers, especially if you're apart of the entertainment industry. We all know how uncomfortable it feels when people begin acting creepy; you should be extremely careful. Then of course, you have the Twitter-fearing friends that just don't get it at all. It's all about communicating with family, friends and co-workers by sending quick messages in 140 characters or less.

You'll see messages from celebrities to mere mortals venting out their frustrations. You might even be lucky enough to have followers. One thing is for sure, be careful what you tweet. On September 30, Kara Alongi sent out her now-infamous tweet, saying "There is someone in my hour ecall 911," which generated thousands of retweets and sparked a movement to #helpfindkara. Everyone in the nation became concerned from Beauty gurus Elle and Blair Fowler from Los Angeles to local New Jersey neighbors. Everyone was retweeting her tweet nationwide, which allegedly was a hoax. The 16-year-old became an instant celebrity on Twitter creating panic for 48 hours. She was found October 2, on the parkway and taken to the hospital for evaluation. She is now safe at home, in the interim, she managed to get over one hundred thousand followers almost overnight.

Twitter is extremely vital for promoting the hottest new TV shows for fall. Many of the fall shows are focusing on fashion. The show "Nashville," is about deadly rival country singers-one a veteran, the other, a younger crossover star from pop. You’ll see plenty of country glamour on the show. Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere will play the female leads. Hayden is absolutely gorgeous in anything she wears, from that denim dazzle look to a sequined cocktail dress to a custom-made corset with boots. The show premieres Oct.10 on ABC.
Fashionistas will love to watch the show "Vegas,” about corruption, justice and the mob in 60's Las Vegas. Carrie-Anne Moss plays a 40-plus district attorney and Sarah Jones plays the sassy young daughter of a mobster.  The outfits are vintage-retro that channel the Nancy Sinatra-meets Ursula Andress-Bridget Bardot look. The hourglass silhouettes are huge in the show, as well as vintage collars. You'll see the dainty gloves along with the pillbox hats.

TV chic can be seen on the show "666 Park Avenue," set in the fictitious Upper East Sidebuilding "The Drake." This thriller is about a midwest couple who doesn't take them long to ditch the drab clothes for New York haute couture. Vanessa Williams plays a socialite, who's impeccable taste makes her shine with sophistication. In the show she portrays a certain sense of elegance and class.  Vanessa always looks ultra-flattering.

Goodbye "Jersey Shore," hello "Made in Jersey," this show star heroine Martina Garetti shaking up the white-collar world in a snooty Manhattan law firm. Janet Montgomery, is the underdog, whose fashion haute couture is different than the New York attorneys. In the show you'll see bright jackets, printed blouses, and separates in bold colors.

Fashion and accessories go hand in hand. This year's fall's hottest jewelry trend is the choker necklace. It's back again, after decades. It’s the perfect pretty embellishment to compliment your fall shopping list. The latest scents to add to the fall is black perfumes. The" Lady Gaga Fame" perfume is a sweet scent along with Donna Karan's "Woman," which offers notes of orange flower and sandalwood.

Rose's Scoop: Jersey girl Anne Hathaway who recently tied the knot with jeweler/actor beau Adam Shulman in Big Sur, Calif., will sing at Joe's Pub in New York City on Oct.24.
