Lady Gaga Woes!
Posted by Rose Quintiliano on Feb 16, 2013 - 9:08:33 AM

HOLLYWOODTwo days prior to Valentine's Day, its bad news for the little monsters. Mother monster, Lady Gaga canceled her tour dates. The singer who has over 34 million followers on Twitter, decided to announce on Twitter, February 12 the cancellations. Gaga took to Twitter and cited "synovitis (severe inflammation of the joints) as the reason for her cancellations, telling her little monsters "I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself."  There were 14 more cities on the "Born This Way Ball" tour, which is scheduled to finish in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 20.

Lady Gaga has cancelled the remainder of her world tour to undergo surgery to her hip.  A statement from promoters Live Nation reads, "Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga "Born This Way Ball" performances have been cancelled. "After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip caused by strenuous repetitive movements in her performances. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal." The star told her fans she was "completely devastated," about having to cancel three concerts, but now her hopes of getting back on stage have been diminished-since she will need to undergo surgery and recovery. Besides this setback, she's in a legal battle with her former assistant, who is suing her for $400,000 in supposedly unpaid wages.

One celebrity that is no stranger to legal woes is actress Lindsay Lohan who has been served with a foreclosure notice as U.S. bank bosses prepare to repossess the New York home where she has been living with her mother, Dina Lohan. The mansion in Long Island, New York is currently at the center of a financial storm.  Reportedly, Dina has fallen behind with mortgage payments, and even borrowed money from the "Mean Girls" star, to help resolve the issue. According to published reports, the paperwork was taped to the property's front gate.

It is just the latest in a long list of problems that the troubled actress has been involved with. Lohan is embroiled in legal proceedings with photographer Grigor Balyan, who alleges he was hit by her car outside a club in L.A. in 2010. He filed a lawsuit, last year, and recently lodged legal documents claiming Lohan has failed repeatedly to appear for a deposition as part of the ongoing legal drama, according to published reports.

Not everyone is as victorious as Don Johnson-not to mention $19 million dollar richer. In his years long battle with producers of his “Nash Bridges" television series, which was canceled more than a decade ago, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Johnson sued Rysher Entertainment for a greater share of the profits from syndication of the show and the jury awarded him $50 million, after Rysher appealed, it was trimmed to $15 million; the company later wired Johnson $19 million.

Rose’s Scoop:  Remember the show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” which aired until 1995. The new version will air on the Style channel, minus Robin Leach.
