HOLLYWOOD—There will be one less Kardashian to keep up with. Kris Jenner, the "momager," to the clan's $65 million business empire has separated from Bruce Jenner after 22 years of marriage. They both told E! News, "We are living separately and we are much happier this way. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our No. 1 priority." Kris is the mother to tabloid fixtures, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob from her former husband Robert Kardashian, (one of the defense lawyers to O.J. Simpson) as well as her two daughters, Kylie and Kendall, with Bruce Jenner, the former Olympian. Bruce Jenner has four children from two previous marriages. Kris Jenner, 57, Fox TV talk show "Kris," was not renewed after a six-week trial run in the summer.
While one show is cancelled, another show,” Restaurant Divided," starring Rocco DiSpirito will premiere on the Food Network on October 24. The reality series pits two different families in a failing restaurant-each with a different vision of how to save it-against each other to determine who has the best business plan. The concept of the show is to divide the entire restaurant space in half with each group given a limited time and budget to transform and bring to fruition a new restaurant. Then the two restaurants open and compete, by serving real customers over a period of two nights.
After the reviews from both customer and critics the restaurant that produces more profitability will be the one that unites the restaurant again. The show is produced by Leopard Films. Rocco's latest commercial is in Kraft Verde Chicken Enchilada TV spot which features Rocco and Carla Hall. The last time we spoke to Rocco was last year, where he revealed he was an avid fan of the group Kiss, who had taken a job in a pizzeria at the age of 11 to pay for the group's album. Rocco starred in the NBC reality television show "The Restaurant," which followed "Rocco's," on 22nd in
Manhattan. The show was eventually canceled, and Rocco was sued, according to reports by the restaurant's financier Jeffrey Chodorow, to have the restaurant shut down. Nothing stops Rocco, he hosted "Food Talk," an hour-long morning talk radio show, along with hosting a TV show "Rocco Gets Real," on A&E through 2008. Rocco drives his truck around in Manhattan and has written several cookbooks including "Now Eat This," and "The Pound a Day Diet: Lose Up to 5 Pounds in 5 Days by Eating the Foods You Love," due out January 7, 2014. Rocco would eventually like to open a healthy restaurant, which he feels there is a market for. DiSpirito was a contestant on season seven of "Dancing with the Stars," with professional ballroom dancer Karina Smirnoff. He was eliminated on October 14, 2008.
Fans rushed to social media to congratulate Valerie Harper, who was booted off "Dancing with the Stars." Harper, 74, who's battling brain cancer, was a TV legend for her acting roles on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Rhoda." She was an inspirational fan favorite despite her struggling with dance steps and knee problems in the four weeks of competition. Unfortunately, her viewer sympathies weren't enough to keep her on the show after a run of low scores.
Rose's Scoop: After being in hiatus for seven years in the music business, Paris Hilton is back with the new single, "Good Time." The lyrics are about partying and getting tipsy. The dance-pop song was written and produced by Afrojack, with additional lyrics by Lil'Wayne and the beautiful hotel heiress.
