"X-Factor" Returns!
Posted by Rose Quintiliano on Sep 13, 2012 - 11:15:42 AM

HOLLYWOODThe “X-Factor” premiered on Sept. 12 for the second season. Part two aired on Thursday, Sept 13, which created havoc for fans since they had to choose between “The  X Factor” and NBC’s “The Voice.”  The beautiful, fresh face of judge Demi  Lovato brings a new appeal to the show. Britney Spears, “The Princess of Pop,” shoots from the hip, she really tells it like it is, alongside Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. It’s similar to “American Idol,” with one difference, when they audition they audition in front of all the fans on stage. Spears along with new judge Demi Lovato, are great with their one-liners and either love the contestants or hate them.

One of the most emotional contestants WHO brought everyone to tears was 19-year-old Jillian Jensen, who delivered a powerful, heart-breaking song with her raspy voice about bullying that touched the heart of judge Demi Lovato. The contestant shared the story about her bullying days along with her tattoo ”Stay Strong,” which coincidentally Lovato also has one of.

Music and TV mogul Simon Cowell is still looking for someone to host the show, it could be anyone from Kevin Jonas to Khloe Kardasdian. .In the meantime, Cowell is set to enter the world of high-end headphones after creating a new line of audio accessories, according to published reports. The new X headphones will havoc dig at new “Idol,” mentor and Interscope records boss Jimmy Iovine, who co-founded the popular Beats by Dr. Dre headphone range. The line was created by Cowell and his partners and Sony spin-off Syco Entertainment. The headphones, according to Simon Cowell, make the sound very clear.

So what will Simon Cowell think of to bring the ratings up? The show is certainly up for competition with “The Voice.” Simon Cowell is believed to offer to pay for Britney Spears wedding celebrations -if she’ll agree to get married on TV. Brilliant, Simon!

Britney Spears has come along way from her 2007 escapades of shaving her head. She has banned any alcohol around her, so she’s really attempting to stay off the booze. Simon thinks that if the X-Factor judge decides to tie the knot with fiancé Jason Trawick on the show, the ratings will go up. Perhaps, but it’s unlikely that the “Princess of Pop,” will agree to make her third wedding ceremony a public affair. We’ll have to stay tuned. Fans will either tune in to “The Voice,” or “The X-Factor,” since both are singing competitions.

Rose’s Scoop: When your aunt is Sofia Coppola and you can name check Nicolas Cage and Jason Schwartzman as your cousins, talent must run in your genes. It’s no surprise then that Gia Coppola already directed short films for fashion houses Rodarte, Opening Ceremony and Orla Kiely. She’s also the face of US label Whetherly’s SS12 collection.
