Go Organic With Tutta Bella
Posted by Kerri Krueger on Aug 26, 2007 - 4:38:03 AM

CHATTAROY—Are you looking for more than just organic foods? If so, the answer is here. The Healthy Aging Living Organics lines by Tutta Bella could be just what you’ve been searching for.

Tutta Bella (which means “everything beautiful” in Italian) was founded by Dana Luchini and her partner Beth Niemi after they witnessed first hand the negative effects of certain ingredients found in skin care products. “I was working as a comfort therapist for cancer and terminally ill patients in Tacoma, and I saw a lot of patients with rashes and sores wounds that would never heal because of the topical creams they had been prescribed,” said Luchini. “I discovered that there were toxic ingredients in those creams, which can be cancer causing and hormonal disrupting.” After using products free of these certain ingredients, she saw a big difference in her own skin and that’s when the idea for Tutta Bella was born.

Luchini had been selling organic facial and skin products for nearly 8 years before she joined forces with Beth Niemi to create Tutta Bella. “We both had about 20 years of experience in various fields related to skin care and were able to join forces about two years ago when Beth became my business partner,” said Luchini.
Tutta Bell offers such product lines as Faccia Bella (Beautiful Face) facial & body products, Bambina Bella (Beautiful Baby) baby products, and Animali Bella (Beautiful Animal) pet products, among others. All of the ingredients in these products are nutritionally packed and include aloe vera, shea butter, glacier minerals, and an array of vitamins. The baby clothing and accessories are made with organic cotton canvas, organic cotton fine French terry, and lycra rib knit among other fabrics. Luchini and Niemi do not use petroleum in their facial and skin products and use PET plastic bottles so the plastic does not affect the product.

“Using products free of petroleum preservatives and fillers not only heals you faster, but your skin will stay younger longer, vibrant and more radiant because you are truly feeding your skin with nutrition rather than plastics,” said Luchini when asked why petroleum is not used.
The women behind Tutta Bella are big on keeping customers and the public up to date on how certain ingredients can be bad for their health. They have taught numerous classes on the subject and have been donating to The Sandra Moroni Endowment Fund for Comfort Therapies. “Through the purchase of our products, a percentage of our net proceeds are donated to provide therapies that promote healing and relaxation and decrease stress,” said Luchini. “We offer these services free to cancer patients who do not have the money to pay for them. We’re hoping to expand this foundation to include patients from every major hospital in the country.”
As does every good business, Tutta Bella is always thinking about the future. “We are getting ready to launch toothpaste, non-toxic baby wipes, baby powder (made with organic corn starch), deodorant, and even perfume,” said Luchini when asked about future products.
Since the conception of Tutta Bella, customers have had nothing but good things to say about the products. “We’ve been told that we’re entering the market at the perfect time because so many people are educating themselves and taking responsibility for their health, the health of their families and that of the environment,” Luchini said. “We are so excited to share our knowledge and empower our customers, friends, and families to make healthy choices.”
