If the Shoe Fits...

Steve Madden
Shoe designer Steve Madden is making women’s dreams come true. No more falling in love with a shoe to find that it does not come in the size or color you want. Now women can create their own shoes via stevemadden.com.

There are several perks to utilizing computer technology in order to create the shoe you have always envisioned. The first step allows consumers to select a style. From flats, to wedges, to the peep-toe, several styles are available except for flip flops, sneakers and boots. Customers can also modify their choice of style by then selecting a heel that is right for them. Choices range from flat to kitten to short. Selecting the perfect style is key for women’s comfort, so that they can pick the ideal elegant heel or office flat.

The next step is the most fun: coloring your shoe. Every aspect of the shoe can be colored and patterned to match any individual taste. Colors range from patent to metallics to leather to gingham, animal print, stripes and linen. Even fine details such as the back shoe stripe, lining, sockliner and bows can be colored to your choosing. The benefits of selecting your own color schemes are that colors can be chosen to match outfits currently in a wardrobe. The colors and patterns of details such as the lining and bows can be picked to compliment accessories as well.

The final step is the least creative: customers choose their sizes and add their personalized shoe to their cart. Prices range from $89.95 - $149.95.

Steve Madden is branching out into the world, now being distributed in over 24 countries. If you love his shoes, you will also be happy to know that the designer is now creating clothing, handbags and accessories. Perhaps someday Madden maniacs will be able to create their own purse to match their shoes.
