NORTH HOLLYWOOD—August 24 and 25, 2002, will mark the first annual, first-ever "Twilight Zone" Convention. 55 actors who appeared in Rod Serling's seminal series, which originally ran from 1959 to 1964, will gather in the ballroom at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn on Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood.

They'll be selling autographs ($10 and up per signature), chatting with fans, re-living old memories and meeting up with their old actor friends. Some of the actors attending include Anne Francis, Mickey Rooney, Cliff Robertson, Julie Newmar, William Windom, Ruta Lee, Kevin McCarthy, Jonathan Harris and Barry Morse.

At 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on August 24, there will be panel discussions with the actors, directors and writers of "Twilight Zone." These will take place in the Beverly Garland Theater (free to ticket-holders). Admission is $10 per person per day and the cost of autographs is not included in this admission charge.

On August 25, the new "Twilight Zone On Radio" programs will be sneak-previewed in the theater and several of Rod Serling's episodes from the original series may be aired.
