"Glee" Recap: 'I Do'
Posted by Ivetta Babadjanian on Feb 14, 2013 - 10:06:13 PM

HOLLYWOODThe wedding "Glee" fans have been waiting for took a turn for the worst with hookups, break-ups and a possible pregnancy in this week's episode of "I Do."

Everyone is in town for Will (Mathew Morrison) and Emma's (Jayma Mays) wedding while Finn (Corey Monteith) freaks out over the kiss he shared with the bride-to-be. He asks his ex-girlfriend, Rachel (Lea Michele), for advice and she tells him that the incident is not worth mentioning since it did not mean anything to either of them. Emma is as jittery as ever for her impending nuptials and her OCD has kicked up to new heights.

Meanwhile, Jake (Jacob Artist) is trying to be romantic for Marley (Melissa Benoist) but he has no idea what to do. Ryder (Blake Jenner) volunteers to help Jake with romantic gestures such as serenading Marley with one of her favorite songs, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "You're All I Need to Get By." Ryder also knows Marley's favorite flowers and buys a heart necklace for her but Jake receives the credit for each gift. It is obvious Ryder still has feelings for Marley as he looks at her longingly.

At the wedding, Artie is introduced to Emma's niece, Betty (Ali Stroker), who is also in a wheel chair but has a mighty attitude. Trouble ensures as Sue (Jane Lynch) attends the wedding in the same wedding dress as Emma in an attempt to get revenge on Will. Emma continues to panic because she is afraid her second wedding will be ruined just like her first.

Emma (Jayma Mays) gets cold feet on her wedding day.
Emma and Will begin to sing "Getting Married Today" from "Company" as Will is excited for the wedding while Emma is running out the door. To make matters worse, Sue walks down the aisle in her wedding dress, stunning everyone to silence, and she's the one to give Will the bad news. Emma's parents decide to still go through with the reception since they paid for it and everyone partied as though a wedding actually took place.

Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) is angry when she sees the chemistry between Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Christ Colfer) as they perform Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough" on stage. The two had been hooking up prior to the wedding even though Kurt is seeing someone in New York. Tina confronts Kurt angrily but eventually realizes that she's just lonely and officially gives up on Blaine.

Sue decides to uphold the tradition of the bouquet being tossed to a crowd of single ladies and Rachel manages to snatch the flowers. Afterwards, Finn confronts Rachel in a way he has never done when he attended high school as he was exuding confidence. He tells her that no matter what happens in their lives, they will inevitably be together in the end.

They then sing "We've Got Tonite" by Bob Seger and we see that the two get a room at the hotel and end up sleeping together.
Rachel sneaks out of bed while Finn is asleep and goes back to New York City where she lies to Brody (Dean Geyer) about spending Valentine's Day alone and so does he.

The wedding night was full of hook-ups as Kurt and Blaine, Santana (Naya Rivera) and Quinn (Diana Agron) and Artie and Betty spend the night together.
Quinn lets Santana know that their tryst was a one-time thing while Artie and Betty are planning on going on a date together.

Jake and Marley also went into a hotel room but Marley couldn't go through with it. Jake didn't seem to mind and they decided to back to the party. The following day, Marley tells Ryder she knows that Jake's romantic gestures were all his ideas and she says one day he'll be able to do it as well but with the right girl. Ryder makes his feelings obvious to Marley by giving her a brief kiss before she leaves.

Finn convinces Will to not give up on Emma and they arrange a performance with the glee students of Ellie Goulding's "Anything Could Happen" in the auditorium. The performance was great but it was difficult to focus on the music since Rachel was taking a pregnancy test and seemed surprised by its result. Could it be positive?

"Glee" fans will have to wait three weeks to find out if Will and Emma can get back together and whether or not Rachel is actually pregnant. If she is, who could be the father?
