HOLLYWOOD—Thanksgiving this year on "Glee" is an interesting one as former graduates return, weird songs are performed and Sectionals ends with a surprising twist.
Now that Ryder and Jake are amicable, Ryder agrees to no longer pursue Marley now that she is dating Jake. In return, Jake helps Ryder to be selected as one of the lead dancers even though he is the better dancer and is trained in ballet. Meanwhile, Kitty convinces Quinn that Marley is being pressured to have sex with Jake making Quinn hostile towards him.
After Quinn, Santana and Brittany (Heather Morris) perform "Come See About Me" to show off their chemistry to the other female glee members, Quinn and Santana get into an argument. Santana says she discovered that Kitty is encouraging Marley's bulimia and gave her laxatives. Quinn doesn't believe her as she thinks Kitty is too sweet to do something like that and simply classifies Santana as jealous. After a bit of slapping, Quinn storms out.
In New York City, Rachel (Lea Michele) confronts Brody (Dean Geyer) about sleeping with her enemy, dance instructor Cassandra (Kate Hudson). Brody reminds her that she left him hanging after Finn arrived to visit and they didn't have an established relationship for her to be upset. Rachel decides to move past the incident and invites him over to her apartment to spend Thanksgiving with her and Kurt (Chris Colfer).
Kurt invites his boss at Vogue, Isabelle (Sarah Jessica Parker), over for dinner as well but is surprised when she brings a lot of her friends with her making the quiet dinner into a full blown party. Next ensued a very weird yet extremely entertaining performance of the songs "Let's Have a Kiki" and "Turkey Lurkey Time" by everyone at the party. With odd lyrics and synchronized dancing, this was a very strange performance which made it all the more fun to watch.
At Sectionals, the Warblers are first to take the stage as they perform the songs "Whistle" by Flo Rida, with Hunter (Nolan Gerard Funk) as the lead, and One Direction's "Live While We're Young," with Sebastian (Grant Gustin) as the lead. It's always fun to see a performance by the Warblers with their matching suits and incredible harmonizing.
Minutes before going on stage, Blaine (Darren Criss) receives a call from Kurt who finally accepts Blaine's apology for cheating on him at Isabelle's suggestion. He tells Blaine that they will talk more when he visits for Christmas and they exchange I love you's. Marley, on the other hand, is feeling sick due to starvation and anxiety before the performance. Ryder decides to let Jake lead the dance since he would guarantee a win at Sectionals and relieve some of the pressure off of Marley.
Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) is the lead singer for the song "Gangnam Style" and the group dances the silly choreography that has quickly become a global sensation. It would have been better to perform this song just for fun rather than at Sectionals because it didn't showcase the groups vocal abilities at all. As confetti cascades down on the glee members at the end of the performance, Marley collapses on stage causing Jake and Ryder rush to help her.
Left on a cliff hanger, "Glee" fans anticipate the next episode to find out whether or not the New Directions will be able to continue with their performance or if they will be disqualified.
