BEVERLY HILLS—Lane Garrison is in a real life horror film. That's what he recently told Canyon News: "I wake up every morning to a real life horror movie. Don't take your freedom for granted." Garrison also added, "I am trying to make a difference here. I am in the middle of writing a book about my prison experiences; I am also trying to keep other people's families upbeat about the incarceration of their loved ones. I have been writing other inmates' families and doing my part to make a difference here." Photo: Nick Ut/ AP Photo Fans have been petitioning the Governor's office to ask for an early release. It's highly doubtful that he will be released early, and Garrison chose not to talk about anything regarding the petition. He is however, very grateful to his fans and is sorry for the pain he's caused the victims' families and his own. The budding star has a great future in Hollywood, the town that forgives when someone takes responsibility for their actions. Until then, Garrison adds, "I just want to stay out of trouble in here and hopefully get out alive, safe, and healthy."
