HOLLYWOOD—This week’s Leading Ladies Gold Standard goes to two beautiful blonde stunners who portray women who find themselves emotionally on the edge most times in their lives. Both women epitomize leading lady status and are not only gorgeous but multi-talented actresses who enthrall, excite and entertain TV viewers. Ashley Jones has returned to the role of Bridget Forrester on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” and Sharon Case, who portrays Sharon Newman on CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” both were awesome last week on their soaps.

From “True Blood” shape shifter to “B&B” physician, designer and mother, Ashley Jones makes all the best choices in her acting roles. On “B&B” Bridget is a good girl who can’t seem to hold on to the men she loves. She lost husband Nick when she slept with and had a baby by his younger stepfather, Owen. Last week Bridget’s extended Hawaiian vacation took an abrupt end and she found herself with son Logan back in the Forrester and Logan family fold in Beverly Hills.
Jones plays a young woman who wants what is best for her son. Bridget believes Owen being a full-time father is the way things need to be, but she is also still having mixed emotions when she encounters her ex-husband Nick. The beautiful actress played each scene perfectly last week and fans are hoping to see a lot more of her on the soap that is hot around the world!

Sharon Case plays Sharon Newman, a woman in Genoa City who finds nothing but trouble whenever she foolishly follows her heart. Her desire to be loved is so desperate that her trip to Hawaii last year ended up in disasters. Her ex-husband’s ex wife ended up in the bottom of an active volcano and then her ex Adam destroyed or intentionally hid the evidence that could have cleared her of murder.
Sharon’s now behind bars in a Wisconsin jail and on trial, yes, a retrial for her life. She desperately wants to be free so that she can return home to raise her daughter Faith. But will she end up out of prison? And if so, will other ex-husband Nick allow her to raise their young toddler daughter, or will he fight for custody? Will Sharon foolishly follow Adam again and end up heartbroken and devastated all over again? Fans want her with Nick or anyone other than Adam. But where would all of “Y&R’s” drama be if we all got what we wanted?
“Y&R” and “B&B” both air weekdays on CBS daytime.
