CeCe (Vanessa Ray) was a bit coy when Emily questioned her about what she knew about Alison’s relationship with Detective Wilden (Bryce Johnson). Andrew attempted to brighten Spencer’s spirits. She then attempted to play strip academics; it was indeed quite funny to say the least! It’s obvious the two friends are indeed smitten by one another. Who knew intelligence could work against you? Jamie confessed to Hanna that he is Caleb’s father.
“Spencer you’re way too smart to play dumb,” said Emily to a fragile Spencer. A sensational line I must say! She appears to be the only one who can get through to her, but the walls are not coming down anytime soon. Aria informed Wes that his mother is onto him, as the two continued to bond about school, just as CeCe begged Aria to assist her with a photo shoot. She decided to drag Wes along the way. Caleb was pissed when he learned about Hanna’s intention to help him come to grips with his father, just as Ashley (Laura Leighton) overheard the discussion. Caleb ultimately decided that he did want to meet his father face-to-face, as Jamie showed up fashionably late.
Jason (Drew Van Acker) spoke to Emily about Spencer’s bombshell about Ali’s possible pregnancy and the fact that Wilden was at
CeCe inquired about Aria’s relationship with Ezra (Ian Harding) and Wes. Emily and Jason arrived to a porch full of empty beer bottles, as someone spied on them. “A” unleashed a threatening text to Em about Jason needing those empty beer bottles. The duo then took a visit to his dad’s office to search for the photo. It was surprising to hear Jason say that he thought Ali had pulled that stunt on him. First the liars thought Ali was still alive, now her brother also thinks so which means just maybe Ali isn’t dead? Emily located the picture that they were looking for that depicted CeCe, Alison and Detective Wilden. The two speculated that CeCe could be hiding something major and I think she is.
In a flashback, the audience learns that a drunken Jason saw Melissa and CeCe talking heatedly. The interesting factoid was that CeCe was a dead ringer for Alison. Another bombshell for the audience, who knew Melissa and CeCe were BFF’s or are they? Spencer paid a surprise visit to Mona and called her out on her actions to expose Mona for who she really is. It was a catfight where Spencer and Mona went toe-to-toe with each other. It was thrilling to see, Mona deserved it; she’s messing with the wrong liar.
Aria and Wes got a bit carried away with the wine and caused a spill that was difficult to clean up, and Wes admitted he didn’t have a place to stay so Aria invited him to her place. She got a call from CeCe who was hiding something about her true location. I knew Ali’s other BFF was always up to no good.
Hanna got the happy ending she was hoping for Caleb. Emily and Jason found themselves trapped in the elevator. Jason decided to play superman by opening the elevator to help Emily escape, just as she did the elevator rebooted and Jason experienced a steep fall. Melissa was not too happy to hear that Wren was alongside his baby sis, who kept Spence’s true actions from Melissa.
It was only a matter of time before Aria moved from one brother to the next, as she and Wes shared a brief kiss. I don’t think Ezra will be too happy when he hears about this! Hanna noticed the $5 bill that she placed at the church was found in Jamie’s wallet. Looks like Caleb’s dad hasn’t changed at all. Emily sent an S.O.S. signal to all the girls to alert them of Jason’s accident. “A” is not playing around; they are intending to kill, just as Emily realized the picture they located is missing. It appears Jason’s accident has shaken Spencer out of her funk, just as Jason went M.I.A.
