“Kinky Boots” Leads Tony Award Nominations

HOLLYWOOD—The 2013 Tony Award nominees were announced on Tuesday, April 30 by “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and “Bunheads” star Sutton Foster. Leading the pack of all nominees was the musical “Kinky Boots” with a total of 13 nominations including Best Musical.  Trailing behind was “Matilida” with 12 nominations and “Pippin” with 10 nods.
