Mammoth Country Inn B&B Provides R&R
Posted by Mahsa Dardashti & Abtin Neiman on Dec 18, 2005 - 2:06:00 PM

MAMMOTH LAKESIf it were not for an out-of-town wedding, we would have never left these urban land mines to discover Mammoth Country Inn and enjoy the crisp air of Mammoth Lakes. Driving from Los Angeles through Lancaster realizing all the development that keeps following us, we entered highway 395 that brought a slew of quaint little old fashion towns, filled with fresh delights, finally leading us to our final destination...Mammoth Country Inn Bed and Breakfast.

Mammoth Country Inn was filled with one wonderful discovery after another. Although located conveniently in town, not more than one block from the main street, this bed and breakfast is still quiet and in a beautifully forested area. Upon entering the bed and breakfast you are lead into the warm living area with elegantly decorated wood by owners Kevin and Donna. The seven comfortable rooms are decorated with mountain-style decor, including two rooms with private Jacuzzis in the luxury bathrooms.

The best part of our stay there was not only the location, but also the wonderful hosts who create an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness for all their guests. Guests share a large dining table during breakfast, allowing for friendships to form over delicious hearty country breakfasts with fresh fruits and breads. During breakfast we had the opportunity to talk to couples from different parts of the state as well as from other countries.

Mammoth Country Inn caters to a variety of crowds all throughout the year. The friendships we formed were further strengthened during the wine and cheese social that we attended every evening of our stay. The social hour was a great way to start our evening before we headed out to the main street. Our stay at Mammoth Country Inn was relaxing, enjoyable and fun, but above all unforgettable.
