You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone!  Let’s take this saying at face value and do something about it.  Show appreciation for the loved ones around you, and thus when they are gone, you can smile instead of regretting that you didn't express appreciation when you had the chance…

How can anyone pass judgement on you and your actions without knowing you, and being in your shoes?  Dave takes a look at the unscientific way we approach passing judgement on others.

News is in our faces more than ever. It is no wonder that we have become caught up in politics more than any other generation. The energy we commit to studying global issues has taken us further away from our local communities. It is time to take back our sanity and put our energy into things we can make a real difference with, like our communities.

In spite of the contradictory opinions of the experts from both sides telling us how to vote, do Americans ever make the right choice?

Are politicians really interested in what’s best for us, or for what is best for themselves and their “friends”?

I am not trouble shooter Judd McIlvain exposing valet parking attendants taking your loose change from your center console, nor am I Michael Moore standing up against General Motors and their downsizing.  What I am is a man who has experienced a few frustrating consumer incidences, and I want to pass on the lessons I learned to protect you and your pocket book.

It seems to me that there is a major gap between what forms of communication resonate with people in small towns versus big cities.  It may sound like a blanket statement, but I’ll prove my point by referencing something that we are all trying to forget…the 2000 Bush vs. Gore presidential election.

A year ago I heard a story about an American soldier who was fighting in Afghanistan.  One day he was fighting side by side with a member of the Northern Alliance against the Taliban. Our soldier was able to get his hands on the special 9/11 edition of Time Magazine that had photos of the planes crashing into the World Trade Center, and he was shocked. He had no clue about what had happened on 9/11.

We are now at the point where it doesn’t matter if you think this war is all about oil, or if we are really the ones to blame for them hating us.  This has turned into a war for our survival.

Our Government works overtime to make a fair playing field because a fair marketplace benefits consumers greatly and keeps America thriving.  As much as the rules for the business competition are carefully managed, the rules for political competition are completely archaic.  Read on for the latest Truth Conquers.

When you hear the name Bill Clinton what do you think of?  How about George W. Bush?  If you are like 80 percent of Americans, you probably see one of them as a visionary; a leader you want running our country, while you feel the other is a lying, self-gratifying, borderline criminal.  Each description fits either Clinton or Bush, depending on your political affiliation.
