BEVERLY HILLS—Can you give us a home?  No, silly, not all four of us!  Just the four legged ones that you see here.  I'm "Bella", the Chihuahua mix and my friend is "Duke",  a Maltese mix.  We are both such good dogs and we get along with everyone and everything.  More than anything, we love to cuddle and have our tummies rubbed.
   Altho we've become good friends at the shelter, we don't have to be adopted together.  One thing that you should know - "Duke" has to have an insulin shot in the morning and at night, as he has  diabetes.  But, really, it's no big deal.  I can see him being given his shot and he is so very good about it.  The whole routine is so very easy to learn.  So please don't let that stop you from giving him a home.
    Think how happy you would make him - and how good it would make you feel to know that you are helping him.   Oh, and please don't forget about me!  If you adopt me, I promise to make you as happy as you will make me!  So, won't you please call to see us?
   Oh, yes, I don't want to ignore the wonderful volunteers that are holding us!  Paul Benevich is holding me, and Kirsten Cahill is holding "Duke".  The picture was taken at the Friends Of Animals Foundation  fundraiser, which was a big success.  We had such a fun time there.  Everyone made such a big fuss over us and they couldn't believe how well behaved we were.  So if you would like to see us or any of our other friends at the shelter - or join Kirsten and Paul in being a volunteer, please
